Hi, I’m Mikhail Borodin. For over 25 years, I’ve worked as a corporate lawyer, qualified to practice in Russia. My main work has been helping international clients with their businesses in Russia and helping Russian businesses expand abroad. Most of my experience comes from working in international law firms.
After several years working in international law firms in Bangkok, I co-founded a consulting company in this vibrant city.
Now, I offer my expertise to companies and individuals seeking to do business, invest, expand, relocate, or live comfortably in Thailand.
In my work, I prioritize a practical, business-oriented approach to addressing legal issues, ensuring efficient and effective solutions for my clients. I have a deep understanding of Western, Russian, and Thai business cultures, including their philosophies, mindsets, business ethos, and attitudes.
I am fluent in Russian, German, and English.
I received my law degree with honors from Saint Petersburg State University in 1998. During my studies, I completed an internship at the German law firm Hennerkes, Kirchdörfer & Lorz in Stuttgart.
About This Blog
I started this blog to organize and clarify the rules about doing business and investing in Thailand, and to keep you informed about legal changes.
In this blog, I put effort into carefully analyzing Thai law and how it’s applied in real-life situations. It’s important to remember, though, that my posts are meant to give you a general idea and aren’t a substitute for professional legal advice. While I aim to keep the information accurate and up to date, I can’t guarantee it’s always perfect. For advice specific to your situation, it’s best to consult with a legal expert.
If you’ve got any questions or need more information, you can always email me or get in touch in whichever way suits you best.
